About Wilcox Theatres

Wilcox Theatres was founded in December 2007.  The primary focus of the company is to provide a quality cinematic experience to small communities throughout the South.  Wilcox Theatres currently operates one theatre located in Bastrop, Louisiana, with further expansion planned for the upcoming year.

David Wilcox is the founder and Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Wilcox has over two decades of experience in the theatre business.  He managed locations in various parts of the country for companies ranging from Excellent Theatre, United Artists, and Regal Entertainment Group.  For the past three years, he oversaw the rapid expansion of Southern Theatres as its Vice President of Operations.  He relishes the opportunity to apply his experience and innovative ideas to a company bearing his name.
